ARTICLE VIII
OFFICERS

Section 1: The officers of the Society shall be the President, a first Vice-President for Program and Housing, a second Vice-President for Membership and Attendance, a Treasurer and Executive Secretary, each of whom shall be elected by the Board of Directors from their own number. All officers shall hold office for a term of one (1) year.

Section 2: The President shall preside at all meetings, shall have general supervision over the affairs of the Society, shall sign and counter sign any and all papers in connection with the Society, shall se the resolution of the Board duly executed and carried out, and shall perform all such duties as are incident to the Office or are properly required of him by the Board of Trustees.

Section 3: The First Vice-President shall be the chairman of the Program and Housing Committee, the composition of which he shall announce at the first regular meetings of the Board in January. He shall work with the President on the programs for the regular as well as special meetings of the general membership. In the absence or incapacity of the President, he shall assume the duties of the President.

Section 4:  The Second Vice-President shall work with the President on such affairs of the organization as membership and attendance. In the absence or incapacity of the President and First Vice-President, he shall assume the duties of the President.

Section 5: The Executive Secretary shall issue notices of all meetings, shall keep their minutes and shall make such reports and performs such other duties as are incident to his Office or are properly required of him by the Board of Directors. He shall supervise all elections including balloting.

Section 6: The Treasurer shall have custody of all money, securities and values of the Society which come into this possession and shall keep a regular book of accounts. He shall deposit said money, securities, and values in such banking institution approved by the Board subject to withdrawal therefrom only upon the checks or other written demands of the Society which have been signed by the Treasurer and countersigned by the President or such other officers as may be designated. He shall perform all other duties incident of him by the Board of Directors. He shall furnish a bond.

Section 7: Other officers to serve as chairmen of other committees to be created by the Board shall also be elected from among the Board's own number.

ARTICLE IX
MEMBERSHIP FEES

Section 1: An entrance fee of P500.00 shall be paid upon acceptance of membership. The annual fee for membership shall be P7,000.00 plus P500.00 registration and processing fee paid once only. The membership fee is payable annually in advance, within the month of January each year to the Treasurer of the Society.

Section 2: The fiscal year of the Society shall be the calendar year.

Section 3: The following dues shall be paid by the member if the membership shall be made effective during the

First Semester              P3,500.00 plus P500 registration & processing fee (paid once only)
 
Second Semester        P3,500.00 plus P500 registration & processing fee (paid once only)

Dues will include the cost of meals during regular meetings. There shall be no refund of the cost of meals to members not attending the meeting.

Section 4: Failure to pay the membership fee within ninety (90) days after January 31, or July 31, in the case of semi-annual payments, after two official reminders by the Treasurer of the Society, shall constitute grounds for the Board of Directors to terminate the membership of any member.

ARTICLE X
AMENDMENTS

Section 1: A majority vote of members voting in person, at a regular or special meeting duly called for the purpose, may amend or repeal this By-Laws.
