Section 3.21 Reports provided by a research company are normally for the exclusive use of the client and his consultants or advisers. If the client intends a wider circulation of the results of the study, in whole or in part, the following should be observed.
Section 3.22 The research company shall obtain the client’s permission when it publishes or announces as a monograph the results of the study in whole or in part. The client as well is bound by the provisions of Section 3.21 in this case.
Section 3.23 The research company shall comply with the client’s with to attend the following stages of fieldwork, so long as it does not obstruct operations and his representative is ready to abide by the provisions of Section 3.3.
Attendance at collection and checking of completed questionnaires one a limited basis.
Section 3.24 Completed questionnaires or other recording media and other forms used in fieldwork, such as sampling forms, or spot maps, together with magnetic tapes of diskettes prepared form such questionnaires of forms shall be the property of the research company, and the research company shall be responsible for keeping such materials for the client for 6 months after the end of fieldwork. However, the client has the option of keeping them provided this does not violated Section 3.3. The research
Company may destroy such material 6 months after the end of fieldwork without informing the client.
Section 3.25 The client is entitled to have access to copies of completed questionnaires, punched cards, tapes, etc. that are apart of the processing of the project, and to duplicate them provided that the client shall bear the cost of such access and duplication. However, this shall be subject to the provisions of Section 3.3.
He completed questionnaire (identity of respondents taken out once released by the research company should bear a release paper signed by the client whereby the research company is also released from all responsibility.
Section 3.26 The research company may appoint to assist in the project sub-contractors (e.g., self-employed interviewers, consultant psychologists and statisticians, computer bureau, contract fieldwork companies), or other professional/similar services as it thinks necessary to serve the best interests of its clients. The names of any such sub-contractors performing any substantial part of the work do not necessarily have to be cleared with client, unless clients require this of the research company. This is subject to the provision of Section 3.23.
Section 3.27 The client with the agreement of the research company, may appoint such sub-contractors (e.g. consultant psychologists, etc.) as well to assist in a project. The expensed for this however, shall be borne by the client. This is subject to the provisions of Section 3.32.
Section 3.28 All surveys shall be covered by a contract signed by both research company and client which indicates clearly the scope of the survey, the information to be obtained, the nature of the involved in discussion, and application of survey results as well as other specifications and agreements.
